The Action Sports USA Championships Invades San Diego
The USA Championships, part of the Action Sports World Tour, heads to the ipayOne Center September 23 & 24
The Action Sports World Tour, the world's only global competition series, is coming to the ipayOne Center in San Diego for the 2006 Action Sports USA Championships!
Come out and witness more than 50 of the world's best skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters competing for a huge prize purse and valuable ranking points toward qualifying into the LG Action Sports World Championships. The event in San Diego is part of the only global competition circuit in action sports and includes tour stops in seven countries, culminating in the World Championships in Dallas, Texas this October.
Some of the top pros that are expected to compete in this international field of talent include: Bob Burnquist (BRA), Andy MacDonald (USA), Kevin Robinson (USA), Takeshi Yasutoko (JAP), Pierre Luc Gagnon (CAN), Mathias Ringstrom (SWE), Anthony Furlong (USA), John Parker (USA), Jake Brown (AUS), Fabiola da Silva (BRA), Nel Martin (ESP), Shane Yost (TAS) and Kevin Robinson (USA).
The Action Sports USA Championships is a full action sports and music festival, featuring some of today's hottest bands performing live on stage. ASA Events is proud to announce Seether will be performing music from their new album, One Cold Night. More bands will be announced soon!
The event also includes mind-boggling freestyle motocross exhibitions and a host of interactive fan exhibits, including break-dancing competitions, athlete autograph sessions, video games, street artists and tons of prize giveaways!
You won't want to miss the Festival Village where you can race ultra-tech, RC cars by Hasbro over the most challenging obstacle course ever built. Try your trigger finger in the Dynasty paintball arena where you and your friends can find out once and or all who rules and who sucks!
