Ed Hardy Hits San Diego

As if the European Action Sports World Tour parties weren’t sloppy enough, Ed Hardy kicked it up a notch at the US Championships with an OPEN BAR party in San Diego. Set at the Sunshine Company in Ocean Beach, the mellow Sunday night setting got turned upside down when the allstars of action sports rolled into the venue.
It was a no-holds-barred drink-fest from the word ‘go.’ Tom Stober and PLG celebrated their return from summer-long injuries. Fabiola da Silva sported new bangs to match her newly single status (myspace her quickly boys; there’s no telling how long she’ll stay that way). And Jake Brown celebrated his Mad Croc Energy Award win.
Announcer Andy Critchlow bounced from group to group trailing a camera crew to catch athletes unawares. That sneaky technique may have nailed skateboard head judge Eric Kirkwood, who took full advantage of Ed Hardy’s corporate card, but couldn’t make a dent in Chris Gentry's armor, as he spoke with his usual enthusiasm on all things PRO-gressive.
After the bar shut down, skaters piled into cars and went to private parties around San Diego where lies were told, secrets were revealed, and everything came up rosy by sunrise Monday morning . . .
