Ahhh San Diego. They love their beach, and they love their action sports. The beach going action sports fans were out in droves today for BMX vert finals, skateboard vert finals, and inline vert finals. They also took in some FMX demos and a musical set from MXPX. Throw in sunburn and some sand in their shoes, and they’ve had a heck of a day out here at the Action Sports World Tour.

San Diego brings two things to mind: the beach, and skateboarding… well, not just skateboarding, but action sports in general. In a sense it’s the birthplace of all the action. For the second year in a row, the Action Sports World Tour is dropping in San Diego, this time right on Mission Beach. We’re just minutes from where things all began: Del Mar Skate Ranch, the legendary Enchanted Ramp, Mission Trails… San Diego is rich in action sports history.

Mission Beach Was Blowing Up Today:
Inline Vert Recap

Mission Beach was blowing up today due mainly in part to the inline vert which was back in full force after being absent from the last stop. This was mainly due in part to stellar performances by the Yasutoko brothers from Japan, Australia's Shane Yost, and USA's own Marc Englehart.
