ASA Entertainment and MegaRamp Events Enter Multi-Year Partnership
LOS ANGELES (July 26, 2010) — Leading action sports event producer, ASA Entertainment (ASA), and MegaRamp Events, creators of the world-renowned 90' high ramp used in the Big Air competitions at the X Games, announced today that they have entered a multi-year partnership to produce the MegaRamp ASA Triples tour (Triples). The ASA Big-Air BMX Triples, which was introduced in 2007 as part of the ASA Action Sports World Tour, was developed into a stand-alone tour in 2010. As a result of this partnership, the Triples events moving forward will be rebranded as "MegaRamp ASA Triples".
The MegaRamp ASA Triples showcases the industry's top BMX and skateboarding pros competing in a series of unique head-to-head battles while taking on the challenge of the 195-foot long course, consisting of a 25-foot high roll-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending 14-foot high quarter-pipe. The competition's head-to-head format stretches the athletic limits of these competitors and showcases the pros' innovation and versatility with a bevy of awe-inspiring tricks.
The tour will initially debut with four MegaRamp branded events this fall among the eight Triples contests being produced by ASA in 2010.

August 28 - Sacramento, CA - ARCO Arena
September 25 - Fort Wayne, IN - War Memorial Coliseum
