For the BMX riders, the Cincinnati stop of the ASA Action Sports World Tour was the first domestic vert contest of the year. That said, we were sure to see some new tricks on the vert ramp from the riders, and they definitely did not let down the Kings Island fans.
Cincinnati was Mayer's time. He flat-out killed it, and landed kickflip McTwists in not one but three of his four runs. And he put in some serious work throughout the day.
The FMX Team Energy Cup ended its weekend run at Harrah's Rincon outside of San Diego this afternoon. The one-of-a-kind team event culminated with Team SoCal beating out Team Nevada 7-3.
